The Emmanuel family continued to focus on the fellowship of believers during worship on Sunday. We sang of unity and prayed that God would bind us together so that, together, we might live out the calling of Christ. We were reminded that, although it might seem easier, we cannot live out the gospel when we are not in community with others. We cannot forgive if we will not allow others to be close enough to hurt us. We cannot serve without having someone to serve. Ultimately we cannot love without allowing others to be close to us.
