"It's about the wheat and the weeds inside of us because we are a mix aren't we?"

Jesus' parable about the landowner whose enemy sowed weeds among the wheat seems straightforward until we come to the word 'wait'. Why would Jesus not want us to pull up the weeds that the enemy has planted among us? Perhaps the weeds He spoke of are not the weeds we are thinking of. Perhaps He was speaking of the weeds in our own lives. Surely the Lord wants us to rip out the weeds in our own lives. But still we hear the word 'wait'. Now we begin to understand that God perceives our lives from a different perspective and asks us to trust Him. And when we begin to trust we begin to see how the experiences that we thought were weeds have been turned to wheat by a God who is continually redeeming our lives.
